Indonesian patient who contracted Covid-19 has recovered without complications

DILI, 07 october 2020 (TATOLI)– Speaker from the COVID-19 crisis team, Nilton da Silva said Indonesia patient who contracted Covid-19 have recovered without complications.

The patient was constructed by the disease and detected on september 23, 2020.

According to Mr Silva the patient test results turn negative twice after the test was conducting on the patient.

“today on october 7, 2020, we announce to the public that the Indonesian citizen who contracted COVID-19 from abroad has now recovered from the disease,” Mr Silva told journalists during a press conference at Vera Cruz Isolation Center.

a 39-years-old Indonesia citizen from Medan [Indonesia], who arrived in Kupang Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) on september 12 and entered Timor-Leste on September 13 through Batugade landborder.

The patient arrived in Timor_Leste along with 168 passengers, a 166 people were sent to mandatory quarantine sites and other two were home quarantine.

Nilton da Silva represents the Ministry of Health announced to the communities to help the police assist the citizens who illegally crossing the borders to avoid the transmission of covid-19 in Timor-Leste.

So far, there is 206 people are in Dili Mandatory quarantine site, 56 people are quarantine in Municipalities, a 407 people are auto quarantine which is include Dili and Municipalities and total of 4.700 people have completed their mandatory quarantine.
