DILI, 26 october 2020 (TATOLI)– After one recovery patient from Pakistan was discharged, Timor-Leste has just moved a new patient who suspected to have COVID-19, to the vera Cruz isolation center.
The patient is an Indonesian Citizen that has been complying with the 14 days of mandatory quarantine at the Hotel Beach Garden quarantine site.
The patient is 56 years old who travelled from Makasar, to Surabaya Indonesia and arrived in Kupang between 15 of october with Lion Air.
The patient then travels to Atambua with the rented car, and following day he was with another four people travelled to Dili from Atambua and fulfilled the auto quarantine at the Hotel Beach Garde.
According to Coordinator of COVID-19, Odete da Silva Viegas, the patient started to show symptoms on 22 and 23 of october 2020 and the Doctor and COVID-19 medical team have rapidly transferred the person to the Isolation Centre at Vera Cruz to do testing, while the other four people will continue to comply with the confinement.
