DILI, 05 january 2020 (TATOLI)– The Responsible of Guido Valadares National Hospital (HNGV), Sara Maria Xavier said, the hospital recorded 5.633 New born babies and 94 stillbirths during 2020.
Xavier said, the hospital registered from January to december the total of 5.643 pregnancies undergoing the treatment at the Hospital, and 5.567 have completed their birth process.
“From the total number, 4.134 have normal delivery, 1.093 undergoing the surgical incision while 368 In a vacuum-assisted delivery,” Xavier told the journalist at his office on Tuesday.
She explains, the 94 stillbirths were died in the wombs before given birth and there were 8 maternal deaths recorded during the pregnancy termination.
“The hardest case was the maternal deaths since some of them given birth at home and died from a massive bleeding in the moments after giving birth,” she said.
In spite during December 25, total of 26 new born babies were born with the instruments one was with the surgical incision, 17 were normal deliveries.
