DILI, 13 february 2021 (TATOLI)- Minister of Health (MoH), register one additional covid-19 case, brings the country’s total number of covid-19 infections to 39.
“Today the National Commission for Covid-19 records one positive case, patient is 28-year-old female without showing any symptoms,” The Coordinator of COVID-19, Odete da Silva Viegas said at the press conference held in the Ministry of Health office at Caicoli Dili.
She explained the patient travelled from Atambua Indonesia with her one-year-old baby on january 28 2021, she decided to cross the border illegally through Memo Bobonaro Municipality, she was taking to the quarantined with her one-year-old beby at the Batugede, after she was found out by the security border with no complete documents.
According to Viegas the patient swab was took at the same time she was brough to the quarantined, and the results showed the patient was negative to covid-19 while On ferbuary 12 the following the was and the result turned out that the patient was positive to covid-19.
“The patient was transferred to Vera Cruz Isolation Center with her one-year-old daughter in separate room with other positives patients,” she said.
In spite, following the data recorded from the Health Authority, 20100 have been tested 19.770 showing negative results while 229 people are waiting for their results.
Currently 236 people are in mandatory quarantine and 7845 people have been completing their 14 days of quarantine.
