DILI, 15 february 2021 (TATOLI)— A patient who was receiving treatment for COVID-19 at the Vera Cruz isolation center, has now recovered from the virus, authorities have confirmed.
The Coordinator of COVID-19, Nilton da Silva said the patient returned a second negative test yesterday.
According to Mr Silva, the patient took the first test in february 12, 2021 and the second test was performed on February 13, 2021 with the results turned negative.
“The female is the 18-year-old of foreign citizens she will soon be discharged and will then be able to return to her family,” Dr Silva said during yesterday’s daily briefing in Dili,” Dr Silva said during yesterday’s daily briefing in Dili
Silva added that the Ministry of Health has begun the mass testing in Covalima, Bobonaro and Oé-Cusse Municipalities.
According to plan, the swab mass testing will be ending in February 25, 2021.
More than 7845 people have already served their 14 days mandatory quarantine; comulative cases 102, one recovery and actual cases is 39.
