DILI, 18 April 2021 (TATOLI)- Timor-Leste on Sunday recorded 70 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, raising its total active cases to 639 said a Ministry of Health (MoH) CIGC statement.
The new infections included five municipalities’ cases, with 65 of them reported in capital Dili, and were all asymptomatic while six are present with the symptoms.
Regarding the new active cases in the municipalities, Aileu registered two. Ainaro, Covalima, and Manufahi each detected an infection.
Authority also reported 21 recovery cases yesterday.
Timor-Leste has officially reported a total of 1,306 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the coronavirus pandemic hit the country in March last year, with 2 deaths and 665 recoveries, according to the official data.
