CCDTL has received a $2.000 grant from SECOOP

DILI, 12 july 2021 (TATOLI)-The Timor-Leste Disability Savings and Loans Cooperative (CCDTL) has received $2.000 grant from Secretary of States for Cooperatives (SECOOP), revealed the Deputy Director of CCDTL, Evaristo da Conceição.

“CCDTL has been assisted by SECOOP by donating $2.000 in 2018, this fund was used to buy tables and chairs in the operation of CCDTL until now,” said Evaristo in his office Mascarenhas to Journalist of TATOLI News Agency on monday.

He added that in addition to providing SECOOP funds, SECOOP also sent one (1) CCDTL staff to take part in a savings and loan management capacity training in Bali in 2018 and this staff has managed CCDTL with success to manage this CCDTL with his abilities.

“Therefore, on behalf of all CCDTL members, I would like to express my deep gratitude to SECOP who has helped CCDTL even a little but we really appreciate it, we hope that cooperation and capacity building for CCDTL can be enhanced in the upcoming future”.

CCDTL was inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry, Filipus Nino Pereira, at that time.

After being established, 373 members of people with disabilities have been registered as members. CCDTL has been assisted by the SECOOP.
