DILI, 13 july 2021 (TATOLI)- The Disabled Eyes of Timor-Leste (AHDMTL) has benefited from from the prime-minister’s cabinet the offer totaling $13.313.
Director of AHDMTL, Gaspar Afonso said AHDMTL is very proud because the Prime-minister’s cabinet through the Social Audit Unit has trusted AHDMTL by providing funding to be directly involved in auditing mega projects in Oe-cusse.
“In early 2020 AHMDTL received funding of $13.313 from the Social Audit Unit and this funding was used to carry out audit activities on mega projects such as roads, air fields and several other constructions in RAEOA with the aim of being accessible to people with disabilities,” said Afonso in Manleuana to Journalist of TATOLI News Agency on tuesday.
He explained that this funding was used to pay for accommodation of 2 people with disabilities who carried out audit activities in RAOE for three months at the beginning of 2020.
This activity has been completed and has submitted a report to the Prime Minister through the Social Audit Unit in the middle of 2020.
“For this funding, on behalf of AHMDTL,I would like to express my deep gratitude because the Prime Minister’s cabinet through the Social Audit Unit has considered us to involve AHDMTL in this audit,” said Afonso.
