Courageous lighted lamp

Poetry
By:
Dionisio de Jesus Lopes
There was, one night, a lighted lamp,
It warms the mind and every heart.
A night’s so dark and full of mishap,
But a lighted lamp keeps burning hot,
Amidst the city without a fright,
It keeps against the blows of wind.
The lighted lamp keeps its fight,
Inviting other forces to bind,
A force that is with the same light,
To bring in the city a true delight.
