DILI, 17 september 2021 ( TATOLI)– Representative of United Nation International Children Emergency’s Fund (UNICEF), Vicente Tetonio Lopes, said UNICEF will reconstruct the old Dormitory and Training Center of Association Vision Impairment of Timor-Leste (AHMDTL) in Manleuana, Dili.
UNICEF will rehab AHMDTL’s Dormitory and Training Center in the early of October,” Lopes told to reporters in the AHDMTL office today.
He added that all design and budget had been concluded by UNICEF and will transfer to the AHMDTL account to run the rehabilitation project.
“The total budget donate by UNICEF is US$ 8984,16 which will transfer to AHDMTL ‘s account to implemented the project,” AHDMDTL,” said Lopes
The proposal had approved by UNICEF and will be implemented by AHDMTL in early October and these projects will be controlled by UNICEF in Timor – Leste.
In the same place the Executive Director of AHMDTL, Gaspar Afonso expresses his deep gratitude to UNICEF that always support AHDMTL during this time.
Gaspar Afonso promises will implement these projects transparently to ensure the quality of rehabilitation of AHDMTL ‘s Dormitory and Traning Center to facilitate all of AHDMTL ‘s members: “I will submit the report to UNICEF after this project is finalized”
