President and state entities pay tribute to late Ma’Huno

DILI, 27 september 2021 (TATOLI) – The President of the Republic, Francisco Guterres ‘LuOlo’ paid tribute to the late Timorese hero, Jose Antonio da Costa ‘Ma’Huno Bulerek Karathayano’ at the Timorese Resistance Archive and Museum, in Dili.

At the same place, the President of the National Parliament (PPN), Aniceto Guterres, and Government members were presented to pay tribute to the national hero José Antonio da Costa.

Before the funeral rites commence for late Timorese hero José Antonio da Costa, the deceased would be presented at the FRETILIN’s central committee and the office of the National Congress for Timorese Reconstruction (CNRT) to be honored by the members of these two political parties.

According to the agenda, the deceased would be placed at Timorese Resistance Archive and Museum for three days, from september 26 to 28.

The requiem mass would be held at the Cathedral of Dili, on september 28.

After the requiem mass, the deceased would be handed over to the family for the cultural ceremony, in Laleia, Manatuto.

The Timorese would bid farewell to one of their greatest among the national heroes, Jose Antonio da Costa ‘Ma’Huno Bulerek Karathayano’  in a solemn ceremony to be held at the National Hero Cemetery in Hera, Dili.
