DILI, 15 october, 2021 (TATOLI) – The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Coordination (MEAC) represent Timor-Leste and the line of ministries to participate in the Bilateral meeting and Business Forum in the Emirate Arab.
The Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs and Cooperation and the General Coordinator for Expo 2020 Dubai, Joaquim Amaral said Dubai Authority has invited Timorese lines Ministery to join the Bilateral meeting and Business forum in Emerate Arab.
“The participation of Every Ministries in the Expo 2020 Dubai following the Government decree law no 20/19. therefore this opportunity will offer to every Ministries and government Institutions for the planning, promoting and Investmenting in natural resource to generate the country revenue,”
For this part, Timor-Leste will ensure all the participants countries by promoting the country potential products in the Expo 2020 Dubai event, at the same time introduce the culture identity, character of Timor-Leste to the world.
“I have work very hard to invites TL lines of ministry including The Minister of Tourism, Trade and Industry (MTCI), Minister of Economic Affairs and Coordination (MECAE), Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEC), Minister of Transportation and communication (MTC), Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF) and National Authority for Petroleum and Mineral (ANPM),” Vong told inform the media at the Fortuna Park Hotel, in Dubai, this Friday.
According to Vong, Each Ministry will acquire the responsibility in the signing of the agreement with other country in the investment and business sectors.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEC) will have bilateral meeting with Dubai government, Minister of Tourism Trades and Investment (MTTI) will sign an agreement letter with the United Arab Emirate in the Aero Service Agreement (ASA) and National Authoirity of Petroleum and Mineral (ANPM) will have the responsibility in promoting the country main resources potential (Oil and Gas).
At the same time Mr. Vong said, various program will be organized and participated by Timor-Leste in Dubai including, Portuguese Speaking countries (CPLP) festival music event, bilateral agreement, business forum, cross cutting visit for each countries pavilions, Timor-Leste National Day and Aero Service Agreement (ASA).
