DILI, 01 november 2021 (TATOLI) – In the past 24 hours, Timor-Leste recorded no new COVID-19 cases, three recoveries, and the active cases dropped to 37, said Rui Maria de Araujo Coordinator of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (SIJK).
There are three people with COVID-19 in hospital, two of those are in moderate condition and one in mild condition.
In the past 24 hours, the National Health Laboratory (LNS) has performed 68 PCR tests, including two via sentinel surveillance, seven via random screening, 17 for the international travel authorization, and 12 in quarantine.
The SIJK kept calling on communities to practice the health and safety guidelines recommended by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the WHO to continue combating the spread of the virus.
Since Timor-Leste’s outbreak began in April 2020, the country has recorded 19.790 cases, 19.631 recoveries, 122 deaths.
In Timor-Leste, of the 754.864 eligible groups, 74.3 percent had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which 48.4 percent have been fully vaccinated.
