DILI, 16 february 2022 (TATOLI) – The United States (US) Computer Software Company Dati Cloud LLC visited the Timor-Leste (TL) pavilion at Expo Dubai to discuss investment plans to be made in TL.
According to the official press release from the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry (MTCI) stated that the work team from TL for Expo Dubai 2020 on sunday 13 february 2022 welcomed a visit from the US Company Dati Cloud LLC.
The owner of the company Amrish Patel in the meeting said that his party had an investment plan that had been prepared to be implemented in TL, which related to the four areas composed of Selling Points (Tourism, Oil and Minerals, Agriculture and Fisheries and Transportation and Logistics).
“The plans from the US Company Dati Cloud LLC are prepared to invest in the fields of Oil and Minerals, Agricultural Technology and the other two are Banking Systems and Manufacturing,” the press release said.
Amrish Patel explained that the plan from the company Dari Cloud LLC has expressed his interest to focus on agriculture “The Company will establish a Manufacture that produces food that is consumed by the community every day and will be exported to foreign countries and CPLP countries.”
The TL work team for Expo Dubai is proud and appreciates the good intentions of the company. The team also hopes that the company will have the consistency to cooperate between the two parties in the future.
The meeting was held on the second floor of the TL pavilion and was attended by Especial Envoy Arif A. Sagran, and accompanied by the Director of the TL Pavilion, Jelino Soares; Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Lesino Branco, and Trade Invest Timor-Leste with the working team.
This visit was a continuation of the previous meeting held by the TL Work Team at the Orix World Business Center office in DownTown, Dubai, on 12 february 2022.
