DILI, 27 june 2022 (TATOLI) – Owner and Director of St. Anthony’s International School (SAIS), Cristina Yuri Rebelo dos Santos Costa, informed that, so far the school has implemented three modalities to ensure the quality of SAIS, the quality of teachers, the school facilities and creating a good environment.
“SAIS guarantees the quality of its education because so far SAIS has implemented three main modalities, including quality of teachers, adequate school facilities, and creating a good environment,” SAIS owner Costa told Tatoli during an interview in her office, Palapasu, Dili this Monday.
da Costa explained that all teachers at SAIS were allowed to follow the teaching and learning process pedagogically, to practice their attitudes and behavior in interacting with students in class.
“Teachers we recruit for SAIS will have the opportunity to take part in capacity building from schools, before delivering lessons to students in class, this is to ensure teachers have the skills to interact with students in class. ,” he says.
da Costa explained that SAIS in addition to providing students with relevant subjects, SAIS also develops life skills for students such as Arts, Music, gardening, and English courses, “this is to provide the opportunity for students to organize the school events at SAIS,”
“We also create a good environment for students and teachers, in terms of security protection. Safe schools will attract more parents to send their children to study in our schools.”
According to da Costa, the facilities at SAIS are adequate, “Currently SAIS has 25 students in every classroom not more than that, this is to ease the communication and the learning process in the schools,”
