Happy farm company wishes to invest in the beverage industry at TL

DILI, 10 january 2023 (TATOLI)- Malaysian company Happy Farm met TradeInvest shows interest to invest in the beverage industry sector in Timor-Leste.

A statement published by TradeInvest stated that the Happy Farm company express its commitment through a meeting held with the Executive Director of Timor-Leste TrandeInvest, Arcanjo da Silva on monday, 9, 01, 2022.

“Seeing this opportunity, Happy Farm intends to reinvest through Quiliana Beverage products which plans to invest in the beverage industry in Timor-Leste,” said Arcanjo da Silva in the published statement.

It was explained, Happy Farm Company invested in the livestock sector with an investment capital of $2 million in Loes, Maubara District, Municipality of Liquiça.

“So far, Happy Farm has routinely marketed chicken eggs to the domestic market since 2017,” he said

During the meeting, the Executive Director conveyed information regarding Private Investment Law No.15/2017, including the Regulations and Procedures for Private Investment in Government Regulation No.2/2018, that ensure the investors’ right to increase investment and trade in Timor-Leste.
