DILI, 13 march 2023 (TATOLI) – The Timor-Leste Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI-CTL) requests Timorese traders to access ‘credit suave’ from the Government’s Ministry of Tourism, Trade, and Industry to grow a successful business in Timor-Leste.
Vice President of CCI-TL, Rui Castro, said the suave credit offers an interest rate of 0.3% for Timorese traders.
“The interest rate offered by suave credit is only 0.3% which is a very effective payment standard for Timorese traders. Let me give an example if your credit is USD 1,000 you pay a fee of $ 2.50 per month,” Rui Castro told TATOLI at the office of the National Center of Chega in Balide, Dili.
Rui Castro informs to bring forward Timor – Leste economic growth Timorese people have to think about business, talk about business, and develop business because business is one of the ways to help people get out of poverty.
“Only a business can change lives, therefore, start growing by thinking about what kind of business we should develop, and grow a business with a small budget to improve and guide the lives of Timorese people, not a business for the elite,” he said.
Rui Castro, also emphasized that CCC-TL will assist small entrepreneurs by facilitating entrepreneurship training, financial management, and accountability training, which aims to help them how to manage their businesses properly to benefit their business activities to improve their standard of living and also contribute to the country’s economic growth.
So far the Government of Timor – Leste through the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry has allocated $50 million to the National Bank of Timor – Leste (BNCTL) to facilitate Timorese people to run businesses.
