DILI, 16 june 2023 (TATOLI)- The Ambassador of Timor – Leste to Japan Elidio Ximenes da Casto, informed the Sunesi international company from Japan wishes to open the shipbuilding company in Timor – Leste.
” International Sunsei Company from Japan have the interest to open ship manufacture in Timor – Leste, their company had expanded its branch in the country of Philippines and Paraguay, therefore, they observe that Timor – Leste has the potential to open its company in Timor – Leste in the future,” said the Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Japan, Elidio da Costa to TATOLI through media social on friday.
He explained, the Sunsei Company will visit Timor – Leste in august to discuss with the government of Timor – Leste the mechanism and the process to open the ship manufacture in Timor – Leste.
” When the company opens the manufacture, it will accommodate Timorese to work in the company, therefore we ask the government to provide the opportunity and to bring the advantage to Timor – Leste because so far we have many boats but there is no maintenance and must be repaired in Surabaya Indonesia, thus their existence in Timor – Leste will help us to do the maintenance of ship in Timor – Leste instead of going to other countries,” he concluded.
