DILI, 09 may 2024 (TATOLI) – The Ministry of Trade and Industry has made US$200,000 available for the rehabilitation of the Manleuana and Taibessi markets.
The work will be carried out by national companies Walgen Walter and Reynazhunior.
The Acting National Director of Commerce, Gabriel da Costa, said it is necessary to improve the conditions of the markets, as well as to provide a more functional and healthy environment for both vendors and citizens.
The six-month rehabilitation project is expected to take place next week.
The Director of Walgen Walter, Walter Martins, said that he already has a team on the ground to observe the conditions of the Taibessi Market.
