DILI, 02 october 2024 (TATOLI) – Members of the National Parliament on thursday approved visa-free travel for Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, and Singapore, a statement said.
The National Parliament discussed and ratified the the Visa Waiver Agreements between the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and the Government of the Republic of Singapore, for Holders of Diplomatic, Official or Service and Ordinary Passports; the Kingdom of Thailand, for Tourist Purposes for Ordinary Passport Holders; and the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Dipertuan of Brunei Darussalam for Holders of Diplomatic and Official or Service Passports.
The Parliament approved each of the three visa waiver agreements with 61 votes in favor, 0 against and 0 abstentions.
The draft resolution was presented by the Vice-Minister for ASEAN Affairs, Milena Maria da Costa Rangel, and approved by the Council of Ministers on july 3, 2024.
