DILI, 15 january 2025 (TATOLI) – The Secretary of State for Vocational Training and Employment (SEFOPE) held the first interview for the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme.

The Australian company, Sunray Farming Queensland Pty Ltd interviewed 130 shortlisted workers on January 14, and only 71 candidates passed the interview test.

These 71 workers will be officially recruited as the first group of the PALM Scheme to work for Sunray Farming Queensland Pty Ltd in Australia.

The PALM scheme would provide these Timorese youths an opportunity to access a range of short-term and long-term jobs in Australia.
