DILI, 04 february 2025 (TATOLI) – The President of the Republic, Jose Ramos Horta, met with His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the UAE, in Abu Dhabi.
The two emphasized the importance of promoting tolerance, coexistence, and human fraternity as key pillars for global peace and development.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Timor-Leste and the UAE to fostering dialogue and understanding among nations, reflecting their active roles in advancing these values on the international stage.
The meeting, which was also attended by Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee for Human Fraternity, took place on the sidelines of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity Summit, which is being held in the UAE capital from February 3 to 4, 2025.
