DILI,07 august 2021 (TATOLI)– The Spokesperson of the Interministerial Commission on COVID-19 vaccination plan, Danina Coelho, said up to now the percentage of COVID -19 vaccine on first doses had reached 41,2% while 14,3% is fully vaccinated.
“Participation of COViD -19 vaccine in the national level has already reached 41,2% on the first dose and 14.3% referred to the full vaccinated,” Danina Coelho told a reporter in The Ministry of Social Solidarity an Inclusion (MSSI), Kakkoli, Dili on Friday.
Dr. Danina explained, at the moment Interministerial team from MSSI and the Ministry of Health already conduct the National campaign of vaccines in all territorial of Timor Leste to increase the participation of the adult population to be vaccinated to prevent COVID -19 disease in Timor Leste.
“The COVID-19 vaccination campaign took place in several municipalities: Bobonoro, Suai, Vikeke, and Dili, according to the plan the team from the MoH will continue to conduct the campaign in Bacau on 12 of august next week,” She said.
According to the data recorded from MoH 25% of the population in Bobonaro Municipality have received the vaccine, Suai 50%, Vikeke 50% above, and Dili 50%.
