DILI, 14 february 2022 (TATOLI)- France International Cooperation Agency (FICA) is provided financial 4,000 euros for National Music Association (ALMAMOR) is initiated to compose an album which is referring to environmental protection.
The President of ALMAMOR, Henrique do Rosário said ALMAMOR is national music in Timor-Leste that focuses on promoting Timorese originality music for Environment protection. It is required for the music creators to provide ten types of music.
“There is coordination between ALMAMOR and Art production, which got financial support from the France Association in the amount of 4,000 euro. The fund is provided to promote young people’s ability on composing Timorese music which refers to environment protection,” The President of ALMAMOR, Henrique Do Rosario told reports at the Oriente Foundation meeting room, Bairro dos Guerrillos this Monday.i
He added that ALMAMOR is an initiative promoting young people’s skill in composing music which is caring for the environment in the lovely country of Timor-Leste.
“Mostly, young people always composed music referring to love and others. Thus, this music competition is guiding young people to composing music for protecting the environment,” He said.
The music must contain special messages to encourage all people to promote the environment and avoid climate change. It can be caused by natural disasters in Timor-Leste.
A Music referee, Melly Galaxy Said that this music composer brings significant words to encourage all people to take care of the environment. This is a point to ensure the music must be qualified. The music title is “NATUREZA TIMOR-LORO SAE”.
Thus, today is the official day of the enrollment process and every Timorese person who has the initiative can register now. The music will be officially launched on March 30, 2022.
It is known that ALMAMOR has submitted a music decree-law to Parliament since 2017 to ensure there is no copywriter of original actors. Therese there is no result and even ALMAMOR has followed up to the national parliament in late 2018. Due to the country is facing a political impasse and the progress of decrees law is still abandoned and not a year agenda to the plenary for more discussion.
There are 114 articles that have been submitted to the National Parliament. Those articles are focused on the music protection and originality of the composer fully right on the music composer.
ALMAMOR is planning to have cooperation with the Secretary of State Environment Protection. Music can encourage people to protect and promote the environment.
