DILI, 17 october 2022 ( TATOLI)– Technology and Information Agency ( TIC) and The Ministry of Foreign Affair and Cooperation ( MoFAC) today signed the Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation on the digitalization of database of Human Resources ( HR).
Interim Director of TIC, Andre Felix Marques said, this collaboration is implemented based on decree law No 29 /2017 on 02 August 2017 to develop communication and technology in Timor – Leste.
“Based on decree law No 29 /2017 on 02 August 2017 TIC wishes to contribute to the important role of MoFAC in promoting Timor – Leste’s interests abroad and ensuring the protection of Timorese abroad through the information and technology,” Interim Director, TIC, Andre Felix Marques told TATOLI at the office of MoFAC, Pantai Kelapa, Dili on monday.
Interim Director, TIC Marques, added that with this collaboration MoFAC will use a digitization application to facilitate all data from MoFAC to reduce the administrative costs which are conducted by MoFAC during this time.
At the same place, the General Secretary of MoFAC, Francisco Tilman Cepeda highly appreciates the initiative from TIC, adding that it will support the data manager and improve the domains and emails to facilitate MoFAC doing their work by using the E-Government of digitalization.
“On behalf of MoFAC I thanked TIC, and hopefully with this application MoFAC will easily store all databases from the educational background of human resources who work at MoFAC, and with this application MoFAC, also will identify the qualified human resources to work overseas to conduct their diplomatic missions in overseas base on Timor-Leste’s foreign policy at the International,” he concluded.
