DILI, 13 january 2023 ( TATOLI)– Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoYES) Armindo Maia, granted the subsidies ‘Bolso Merito” to 3,500 students within this month.
The subsidy support funded by the Government Ministry of Education is worth $ 7.2 million for outstanding students who have great notes during the national examination period.
“The fund has not been transferred to their account due to there being no complete names and grades from the students. I guarantee that next, we can finish it so that students can get the right to subsidy,” said Armindo Maia to reporters at the palace Government Dili.
Meanwhile, the Director of Education Service for the Municipality of Dili, Carlito Soares, said that 194 students were classified as outstanding students in the Municipality of Dili.
“These 194 students consist of 81 students from the second cycle, 24 students from public high school and 9 students from Engineering vocational schools, while the rest are from the high school graduates,” he said.
The data of the student’s grade advancement that excel at Dili municipal education have been provided to MoEYS to classify students according to their classification.
