Over 12,100 Public Servants benefited from the Induction Training from INAP in 2021 – 2022

DILI,23 february 2023 (TATOLI)- The National Director of Training and Capacity Building of the National Institution of Public Administration (INAP), José de Araujo Chang, said INAP had offered the Induction Training to over 12,100 public servants in the year 2021 – 2022.

“Over 12,100 public servants had benefited from the Induction Training from INAP, the training aims to introduce the theory and knowledge which related to their working area for them to practice in their works to work professionally in terms of providing service to the public,’’ said José de Araujo Chang, when interviewed by TATOLI in his office, Comoro Dili on thursday.

The National Director of INAP, José Chang explained Induction training is a term professional in the Human Resources field used for employee training. It is a form of introduction that allows employees and new hires “learn the ropes” of their new job or position and get started easily, the duration of Induction Training is 20 days which applies to all public servants to attend the training before running their probation term in each state institution in order could adjust the development of Administration quickly to serve people professionally.

“Induction Training composes of the Knowledge of the national history of Timor – Leste, Administration file, Finance and accounting, Development of strategic plan, Administration and Management, and the related theory which is used by the public servants in serving the people of Timor – Leste. They were trained by the facilitators of INAP for 20 days before being assigned to each state institution across the Timor – Leste,’’ he said.

So far, the Induction Training was attended by the new recruitment of public servants from all state institution that comes from all municipalities, hopefully from the Induction Training which is gained will benefit them to serve the public efficiently and professionally to contribute to the national development in Timor – Leste.
