DILI, 13 september 2023 (TATOLI)- Three telecommunications operators in Timor-Leste Timor-Telecom, Telemor, and Telkomcel attending the 2023 international BATIC conference(Bali Annual Telkom International Conference/Annual Telkom International Conference in Bali) in Indonesia.
Telecommunications Operator Telkomcel Timor-Leste (TELIN TL) invited other Mobile Network Operator (MNO) industry partners in TL to attend the BATIC 2023 event starting from 06 – 08 September at the Wetin Hotel – Nusa Dua Bali, Indonesia.
Representatives from TL who attended consisted of the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Telkomcel Timor-Leste, VP of Marketing and Sales of Telkomcel, Enterprise and Wholesale Telkomcel, CEO of Viettel Timor-Leste (Telemor), CEO of Viettel Global, Finance Director Timor Telecom and Head of Planning Timor Telecom Core and RAN.
Telkomcel CEO, Benedictus Ardiyanto Priyo emphasized that this participation is a form of Telkomcel’s commitment to be involved and increase economic growth through telecommunications and information technology services in Timor-Leste.
“Our presence here is to make preparations to accelerate unmatched service lines, increase partnerships, and collaborate to push the industry to a higher level,” explained the CEO of Telkomcel Priyo.
According to Priyo, the presence of the three telecommunications at BATIC 2023 is a good form of collaboration between Telkomcel, Telemor, and Timor Telecom to learn together and inspire each other in a better telecommunications industry for Timor-Leste.
BATIC 2023, resonates with its theme: “Unleashing the Innovation Wave, Enabling a Digital Tomorrow” or “Unleashing a Wave of Innovation, Enabling a Digital Future.”
With more than 300 huge world companies attending, BATIC 2023 has made its name the grandest meeting to date. The stage was graced by global leaders, including figures from leading companies and members of the Global Leaders Forum (GLF).
It was stated that the BATIC 2023 meeting was attended by more than 1000 participants, more than 200 companies, and more than 30 countries, and presented more than 30 speakers during the three-day conference.
