DILI, 26 june 2024 (TATOLI) – The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Francisco da Costa Monteiro, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TIMOR GAP, Rui Maria Alves Soares, presented Timor Gap’s Activity Plan to the Council of Ministers.
“Among the activities included in the plan is the strengthening and development of institutions and human resources, as well as the establishment of strategic partnerships,” the statement read.
The statement also said that among the priorities is the development of the Greater Sunrise field, with the implementation of a gas pipeline to Timor-Leste.
“The exploration and development projects for potential onshore needed to offshore blocks were also discussed, as well as the planning of the infrastructure needed to support the Tasi Mane project. General information on the Greater Sunrise project was also shared,” said the statement.
