DILI, 19 March 2025 (TATOLI) – Aero Dili, the flag carrier airline of Timor-Leste, this Friday will welcome its second Airbus A319 aircraft, said the Company’s CEO, Lourenço de Oliveira.
“The plane, which will arrive in Díli on Friday (21/03) at 5 p.m has 8 first class seats and 122 economy class seats,” Oliveira said at Timor Plaza, Dili.
According to the CEO, the Airbus will operate between Díli, Australia, and Thailand, adding that the new routes are expected to launch later this year.
He said that Aero Díli is awaiting approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Timor-Leste (AACTL) to launch its new route to Australia.
Since it began operations in 2023, Aero Díli has been operating flights to multiple destinations, including Bali in Indonesia, Singapore, and Xiamen in China.
