DILI, 27 April 2026 (TATOLI) — The Study in Malaysia Education Fair Timor-Leste 2026, held on 23–24 April 2026 at Timor Plaza, Dili, concluded successfully after welcoming more than 400 students and parents eager to explore higher education opportunities in Malaysia.
Organized as part of Malaysia’s continued commitment to strengthening educational ties with Timor-Leste, the two-day fair served as a valuable platform for aspiring students to engage directly with representatives from 10 leading Malaysian universities.
The event was honored by the presence of Novie Tajuddin, Chief Executive Officer of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), and Dato’ Amarjit Sarjit Singh, Ambassador of Malaysia to Timor-Leste, whose attendance highlighted the importance of educational collaboration between the two nations.
In his remarks, Tajuddin emphasized Malaysia’s dedication to providing accessible, high-quality education for international students, while also strengthening academic partnerships in the region. Meanwhile, His Excellency Dato’ Amarjit Sarjit Singh reaffirmed Malaysia’s support for Timorese students seeking global academic pathways through Malaysia’s reputable institutions.
