DILI, 23 december 2021 (TATOLI) – Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Social Communication (MAPCOMS), Francisco Martins da Costa Pereira Jerónimo extends his Christmas and New Year greetings to the Timorese people.
“On behalf of all staff members of MAPCOMS, I would like to extend our Christmas and New Year greetings to all Timorese people, and every household across the country and overseas. Wishing you and your family all things bright and beautiful this Christmas,” Jerónimo made the comments in a press conference, held at the Palace of Government, in Dili, on thursday.
MAPCOMS also extended his Christmas and New Year greetings to those who work in the institutions and organizations of social communication.
“I would like to extend the same greeting to the staff members of MAPCOMS, journalists, staff members of RTTL, TATOLI, private media, and community radio across the 12 municipalities and RAEOA.”
He said Timor-Leste had experienced two big obstacles in 2021 – Covid-19 Pandemic and Easter Floods: “All in all, we have done some work despite the difficulties posed by the pandemic and floods.”
“May this coming Christmas bring to each one of us peace and joy, and hoping that this Christmas would bring us a new spirit to face new challenges in 2022,” said Jerónimo.
