DILI, 24 january 2023 (TATOLI) – The Kuwaiti Al-Bader International Development Company W.L.L (AIDCO) is committed to investing in the development of the Timor-Leste infrastructure, says the company’s Chairman, Yousef Al-Bader.
Yousef explained that his company will discuss with Timorese leaders its plan to invest in oil refineries, petrochemical plants, hospitals, universities, houses, airports, etc.
“We had the honor of spending some time meeting with the President of the Republic and we feel very happy to come to Timor-Leste. We are interested to invest in megaprojects such as the construction of, airports, universities, hospitals, and 20,000 houses. We hope to work together in the development of these projects, as well as in their execution and conclusion”, Yousef said after meeting with President Horta, at the Presidential Palace, in Dili, today.
He said that his company wanted to invest in the country because the Government of Timor-Leste had planned to build oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and underwater pipelines.
AIDCO is a private company that operates in the capital goods sector, focusing on construction and engineering. AIDCO is based in Kuwait City.
The Al-Bader International Development Company W.L.L (AIDCO) was incorporated in 2005 to meet the increasing demands for development and modernization through mega projects across the Middle East and Africa.
AIDCO has implemented numerous agreements and joint ventures with a variety of International Companies.
