The President of APORTIL, Lamartinho De Oliveira said, from January to November 2022, his office collected revenue of 790,430.25 from various transportation activities.
“A total of $790,430.25 was collected by the Berlin Ramelau in eight months excluding January February and September and December because we collected data up to November this year,” Lamartinho De Oliveira told the journalist at the Dili port on Thursday.

He explained that for months they had not been collecting revenue because the ship was under maintenance.
He estimates that by 2023 the Berlin Ramelau and Nakroma sea freighters will generate more revenue each month. Each ship can carry 240 passengers including 24 vehicles and other cargo.
“We hope that in 2023 APORTIL can collect more revenue. However, it depends on the weather conditions,” he said.
