DILI, 02 march 2022 (TATOLI)– The ASEAN (Organization of SouthEast Asian Nation) affairs, security on the indo-pacific, natural disasters and the cybernetic security prevention was some of the points have been addressing between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MoFAC) Adaljiza Magno with her counterpart from Czech, Jan Lipavský, during a bilateral meeting in Geneva, on tuesday.

“Their parts also informed Timor-Leste about their preparation and priorities for the European Union’s presidency,” said a statement of the MNEC addressed to Tatoli today.

According to the note, at the same opportunity, both officials have shared current’s human rights affairs particularly the freedom and the essential’s values that are necessary to be defended.

“After 20 years of diplomatic establishment, both of the two countries had a great commitment to strengthen more cooperation in the area of the bilateral and mutual support in the area of the multilateral,” referred.

That meeting was attended by The Permanent Representative of Timor-Leste to the United Nations Office and Other International Organizations in Geneva, Lurdes Bessa and Permanent Representative of Timor-Leste to the United Nations in New York, Karlito Nunes.
