DILI, 21 August 2020 (TATOLI)- Government has imposed 14 days of mandatory quarantine to a 137 Chinese Citizens who were arriving travelers from china last Tuesday (18/08/020).
The Health Coordinator of COVID-19, Odete da Silva Viegas said currently they are staying in mandatory quarantine site such as China Harbor Company Compound, and other four hotels in Dili, Fortuna Hotel, Golgota, Big Family and Timor Plaza Hotels.
The COVID-19 team are continued to provide the assistance and control for the propagation of COVID-19.
“These Chinese Citizens are continuing to comply with the protection rules, because they came from place with containing high risk of COVID-19, and they are very aware for protecting themselves and protect other people around them,” Ms. Viegas said during the press conference at Caicoli Dili.
The travelers are majorities worker from International company of China Harbour Engineering who are working under the Dili Port Construction.
