DILI, 09 november 2020 (TATOLI)- The Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, Taur Matan Ruak, extended his words of congratulation to the President-Elect of the United State of America Joe Biden, and the New Vice President Kamala Harris after the Multiple news outlets declared on Saturday morning that Biden was the winner of the 2020 presidential elections.

“My warmest congratulations to Your Excellencies Mr. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris who received a mandate from the American People to Become the 46th and the Vice President of the USA for the next four years,” Prime Minister Matan Ruak said in a statement posted to his Twitter https://www.britannica.com/biography/Joe-Biden, today.

The New USA President Biden surpassed 290 electoral votes and Having defeated incumbent Donald Trump in the 2020 United States presidential election with the percent of votes 50,7% and 75 401 434.

While the Former President of USA Donald Trump obtain 214 electoral votes with 47,7% votes and total votes was 70 902 822.

following the multiple news outlets, Joe Biden, byname of Joseph Robinette Biden, (born November 20, 1942,Scranton, Pennsylvaia, U.S.), 47th vice president of the United States (2009–17) in the Democratic administration of Pres. Barack Obama. He was elected President of the United States in November 2020.

Biden was raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and New Castle county, Delaware, received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware  in 1965 and a law degree from Syracuse University in New York in 1968. During this time he married (1966) Neilia Hunter, and the couple later had three children

After graduating from law school, Biden returned to Delaware to work as an attorney before quickly turning to politics, serving on the New Castle county council from 1970 to 1972.

He was elected to the U.S Senate in 1972 at the age of 29, becoming the fifth youngest senator in history.

Although he contemplated suspending his political career, Biden was persuaded to join the Senate in 1973, and he went on to win reelection six times, becoming Delaware’s longest-serving senator.

In 1977 he married Jill Jacobs, an educator, and they later had a daughter. In addition to his role as U.S. senator, Biden also was an adjunct professor (1991–2008) at the  Wilmington, Delaware, branch of the Widener University School of Law.

Joe Biden briefly worked as an attorney before turning to politics. He became the fifth-youngest U.S. senator in history as well as Delaware’s longest-serving senator.

His 2008 presidential campaign never gained momentum, but Democratic nominee Barack Obama selected him as his running mate, and Biden went on to serve two terms as the 47th vice president of the United States.

In 2017, at the close of his administration, Obama presented Biden with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Two years later Biden launched his campaign for U.S. president and was elected as the 46th president of the United States.
