DILI, 9 december 2020 (TATOLI)– Timor-Leste has thanked the ASEAN Economy Society (SEOM) leaders, officials from the ASEAN Sectoral Ministerial Bodies, the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ABAC) and the ASEAN Secretariat for their time and insightful feedback throughout the interface after completed the three days conference.
According to the information access from the Foreign Affairs page, On the third day of the conference, Timor-Leste has shared the ongoing efforts in developing the human capital and micro as well as small and medium enterprises.
“We presented our policies and plans in place to achieve energy accessibility and sustainability,” it says.
It is also highlighted regarding the sharing of various private sectors engagement in Timor-Leste by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“We are happy to take up the invitation from ABAC for a meeting in early 2021 to provide ABAC with a deeper understanding of the dynamics in Timor-Leste’s private sector,” said
Thus The completion of the AEC Virtual Interface marks a critical step in Timor-Leste’s progress towards accession.
