Government decided to reactivates Center of Integrated and Management Crisis (CIMC)

DILI, 2 february, 2021 (TATOLI) – The President for the Council of Minister, Fidelis Manuel Leite Magalhães said, the Government of Timor-Leste has decided to reactivate the Center of Integrated and Management Crisis (CIMC), by mean of increasing the number of covid-19 infections in Timor-Leste as well as in the neighboring country.

Following the reports from COVID-19 team, total number of covid infections in Timor-Leste is 22.

“Thus the Government has issued the order from the Prime Minsiter, Taur Matan Ruak regarding the reactivation of the CGIC,” Magalhães told the journalist at the Palacio do Governo.

According to Magalhães the CIGC will be led by the Head of Government, Taur Matan Ruak, with the mission to ensure the daily broadcast of the epidemiological situation.

“The CIGC headquarters will be located in Dili, while the other three will be located in Oé-Cusse and Maliana and Suai,” he said.
