MoH discharges six covid-19 recoveries patients to their families

DILI, 24 february 2021(TATOLI)— Government’s Center of Itegrated and Management Crisis (CIMC) returns six recoveries patients to their families, Coordinator of Covid-19, Rui Maria de Araújo statement on Wednesday at CCD.

“Our Health Personnel has discharged six more patients, of the number five were under the treatment at Vera Cruz Isolation Center while other patient from Oé-Cusse, Ambeno,” Doctor Araújo statement to the journalists at the press conference.

He said, the group that had been arriving in Timor-Leste via land borders on january 20, 2021, their last tests were conducted sequentially and their results indicated that the patients were negatives to covid-19.

Meanwhile the 21 patients are under the treatment at Vera Cruz, while 289 people are at mandatory quarantine.

“Total people in quarantine have raised to 289 including 54 people arriving at the Nicolau Lobato Airport,” he said.

With regards to this situation, Araújo announced to the entire population in Covalima, to avoid making the movement since Timor-Leste has registered a local transmission.
