DILI, 12 of April 2021 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste Health Authority reports 28 new cases of covid-19 with 29 recoveries. The country currently has 544 active infections.
Of the total confirmed cases, 14 in Dili, and the rest are from municipalities.
The rest of the new cases are found in other municipalities including:
Eleven new infections in Covalima, bring the total number in Covalima to 45 with 6 outbreaks recorded.
Two new infections in Manatutu, bring the total number in Manatutu to three.
One new infection from Bobonaro and the total is three cases while in the rest of municipalities, the number of cases remains the same.
The Coordinator of the Task Force for the Prevention and Mitigation of the Covid-19 Outbreak in Timor-Leste at the Integrated Crisis Management Center (CIGC), Rui de Araújo, said that of the infections reported today, 12 are men and 16 are men. women. Six have symptoms and the rest are asymptomatic including one in serious condition.
With the new cases, Timor-Leste since march, 2020, Health Authority recorded a total of cases of 1,046 covid-19.
Also, yesterday the Authority reported 29 new recoveries, which increase the country’s total recoveries to 550
