DILI, may 10, 2021 (TATOLI) – The Integrated Crisis Management Center (CIGC) today announced 126 more active cases of the covid-19, of the number 120 were identified in Dili and six in other municipalities.
The Coordinator of the CIGC, Rui de Araújo, said there are 82 recoveries. The country currently registers 1,584 active infections, 3,353 confirmed cases, and five deaths since the virus appeared.
Concerning the municipalities, Baucau has three cases, Ermera two and Covalima one.
Regarding the infections announced today, Araújo says that the proportion of people infected with symptoms is 11.1%. Among the cases detected today, 63 are men and 63 women.
According to Araújo, 36 patients are currently under the treatment at the Vera Cruz Isolation Center – 17 in the area of obstetrics, stable, one in surgery, 16 in internal medicine, one of whom is severe and 15 moderate, and two in pediatrics. all considered moderate.
The National Health Laboratory (LNS) has carried out 719 laboratory tests since yesterday, 70 tests were performed through the context of sentinel surveillance, 85 via contact screening, 251 through random screening, 304 tests were performed following the requests for traveling authorization, and nine in quarantine. In addition, on May 8, 223 tests were carried out in the municipalities.
Regarding the evolution of the outbreak in the country, the incidence rate of covid-19 is, on average, in the last week, of 8.5 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, while in Dili, according to data relating only to yesterday, from 27.8 per 100 thousand.
