DILI, 11 June 2021 (TATOLI) – The President of the Republic, Francisco Guterres Lu Olo, has already approved the list of 13 ambassadors who will exercise their diplomatic functions in different countries, as well as an ambassador for climate change.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEC), Adaljiza Magno, said that the lists had already been approved, with only awaiting the ceremony of signing the agreement with the destination countries.
“The President of the Republic has already approved the lists of new diplomats. It is still awaiting the agreement with the government of the destination countries. If these countries agree, the Head of State will conduct the inauguration ceremony,” said the official today, at the Presidential Palace.
Finally, Adaljiza Magno added that Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunel Duarussalam, Myanmar, Thailand, New Zealand, Belgium, Switzerland, United States of America, Indonesia, Mozambique, Republic of Cuba and South Korea are the nations for the 13 diplomats to exercise their functions.
