DILI, 15 june 2021 (TATOLI) – Ministry of Transport and Communications, and National Communications Authority (ANC) today, launch Consumer Protection Website http://anc.tl/ consumer and complaints forms for consumers to fill in when complaining about the services of mobile phone telecommunications operators.
The President of the ANC, João Olivio Freitas said that the website was created to protect the rights of the consumers against the services of the mobile phone telecommunication operators in the country.
“Consumers have the right to directly submit their complaints via this website to have solutions for their problem,” Freitas made the comments at ANC hall in Dili, on Tuesday.
Through this website, consumers would exercise their right to complain when facing any difficulties regarding the services of the telecommunication operators.
“When a consumer is unsatisfied with any services of the telecommunication operators, they go to this website and fill up the forms, so the authorities can communicate with the operators regarding consumers’ problems,” Freitas said.

“This Consumer Complaint Form can be accessed on the ANC website that we just launched today. So, if the consumers find that the operators are deceiving them, then they can go to the website, fill up the forms and send it to the authorities,” said Freitas.
Freitas affirmed that the website would push the telecommunication operators to better improve their service delivery.
On the other hand, the Minister for Transport and Communications (MTK), José Agostinho da Silva said consumers have the right to complain to reach satisfaction with the services of the telecommunications operators.
“The existence of ANC is important to ensure companies provide good services to the clients,” he said.
