DILI, 17 june 2021(TATOLI)- Around 856 companies from Indonesia are conducting activities in Timor-Leste, revealed the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Timor-Leste Sahat Sitorus.

“There are 856 Indonesian companies listed at the Indonesian Embassy in Timor-Leste, including clothing sellers, opening stalls, restaurants including Bank Mandiri, Pertamina Indonesia, furniture and other small businesses,” said Sitorus to reporters of the TATOLI News Agency in the Embassy of Indonesia, Farol Dili on thursday.
He said that even though the world was facing Covid-19 including Timor-Leste, Indonesian businesses continued to survive because they have been friends of the Timorese people for a long time and this friendship must be continued.
Sitorus explained that although there were some people who temporarily closed their business activities due to Covid-19 but they were committed to reopening after the Covid-19 pandemic ended, said Sitorus.
