DILI, 05 june 2021 (TATOLI) – Director of the Timor-Leste Blind Eye Association (AHDMTL), Gaspar Afonso said because of his clever lobbying, he was flooded with a number of aids, both from international and from the government.
He explained everything he did on behalf of all the blind people to take part in building TimorL-este in general.
He added that AHDMTL has a massage business and has been operating in Timor Leste from 2017-2021 and is open to the public.
“We dare to open this massage because two members of AHDMTL have attended a training massage in Malaysia in 2016 for six months, therefore to develop their career AHDMTL has opened a massage therapist center in Manleuna Dili,” said Afonso in the office of AHDMTL Manleuana to Journalist TATOLI News Agency on monday.
He added that this massage was not very popular at first due to inadequate facilities but with the help of the Secretary of Social Inclusive (SII) in 2019 with USD 5.000 the AHDMTL Massage center has now advanced to be visited by many people.
The income from this massage has been used for the AHDMTL ‘s interest during this time.
He appealed to everyone who wants a massage to visit the AHDMTL massage center because the masseuse is very professional, even though they are disable of eyes, but has been trained internationally.
“On this occasion on behalf of AHDMTL I express my deepest gratitude because the government through SII has paid attention to our fate in accordance with the government’s philosophy of not letting anyone stand behind”, said Afonso.
