PM Ruak expresses solidarity with flood victims in Germany and Belgium

DILI, 18 july 2021 (TATOLI)- The Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste (RDTL) Taur Matan Ruak conveyed his condolences to the German and Belgian people who were affected by the massive flood which resulted on the death of more than 100 people who were stranded by the flood.

“On behalf of the government of Timor-Leste and the people of Timor-Leste, we express our condolences and deep solidarity to the German and Belgian people who died, around 100 more people of the dead and more than 1.000 people’s homes and offices were damaged by the flood as well as many injuries and victims, still being searched,” said Ruak, which is the journalist of TATOLI News Agency access, on sunday.

Ruak hopes that the victims of the flood search will be found soon and the Prime Minister hopes that the flooding will soon recede and the governments of Belgium and Germany can remedy this situation thoroughly for the people of these two countries, said Ruak.
