DILI, 21 july 2021 (TATOLI) – The United States of America (USA) Ambassador to Timor-Leste, Kevin Blackstone, visited Ministry of National Liberation Combatant Affairs (MAKLN), today.
During the visit, Kevin Blackstone said the war was done by the Timor-Leste National Liberation Army (FALINTIL) was very unique in the world because of the limited quantity of FALINTIL and very minimum weapons of war but it could won the big enemy of the Indonesian occupation who was armed with sophisticated weapons.
“In this world it is very unique because FALINTIL with limited equipment can win the Indonesian regime which has big power including sophisticated weapons, because of that I visited the Ministry of National Liberation Combatant Affairs (MAKLN) to hear directly from him and this is a big honor to me,” said Ambassador Kevin Blackstone, which is the Journalist of TATOLI News Agency access in Caicoli on tuesday.

In the same place, Minister of MAKLN Julio da Costa “Meta Malik” expressed his gratitude to the U.S.A Ambassador for visiting the MAKLIN office to find out the historical process of the national liberation struggle.
“This meeting discussed the process of war against Indonesian occupation and He wanted to know how to deal with a big enemy but Timor-Leste can get independence and he was really appreciates it,” said Meta Malik.
