Bairo Pite Health Clinic registers 212 patients suffer from Tuberculosis and seven death

DILI, 26 July 2021 (TATOLI) – The Program Manager from the Bairo Pite Clinic’s, Jose Maia Soares said the Clinic has registered so far 212 patients with Tuberculosis, and seven were confirmed dead since January until today.

“Starting from January to mid-July his clinic has recorded 212 patients of TB, the number consists of 144 men and 68 women while the rests are children within 0-14 years old ” The Program Manager, told Tatoli at Bairo Pite Clinic today.

He explained the total number confirmed TB, 32 patients are receiving the treatment at the Institution of Seculu Maun Alin Iha Cristo (Ismaic), while the others were assisted by the Clinic Health Workers at home.

“All of our efforts were made to save their lives, but of the 212 people we have treated so far from January to July, 7 people wave died from the disease,” he said.

With regards to the disease, the Manager call upon the population across 13 municipalities who have been suffered from the disease to be able to approach the clinic for the check-up, and be aware of the disease itself.
