DILI, august 02, 2021 (Tatoli)- The women group, Lakon Nakukun and Mosu Naroman (LANAMONA) establish a cooperative Credit Union for women entrepreneurs at the national level.
This program is aimed to provide loan credit accessible by women groups at the National level to run their business and contribute to the national development.
The president (LANAMONA), Domingos Dos Santos said that this initiative is anticipated by women groups to provide the credit accessible for people who commit to doing the business.
“I was invited by the Secretary of State for Cooperative, Director (SSCD), to establish the cooperative women credit union,” the President of LANAMONA told to Tatoli Agency in Acait, recently.
The meeting was held between the women group and SSC to share ideas before initiating this group. It is focused on women’s empowerment to administrate the union for providing credit.
“Today we release assembles to involve women groups for this credit union, and their participation is highly recommended for participating in the economic development activities,” she said.
In the same place, the Secretary of State for Cooperative, Director, Francisco Xavier said that this meeting aims to establish a credit union on women cooperative at national and international levels.
“It is very important for women to create a cooperative group at national level before participating in the international level. For such reason, today women groups are coming together to establish cooperative at the national level.
